I like you. a lot. more than I want to and more than I should.

I’m gonna eat dinner with my second grade teacher! Hoolllllaaaaaa!!! That woman was great. On a real ass note, my elem school days were the best. I think it’s cause I was an awesome kid. Teachers loved me, I got along with everyone, and NO DRAMA SURROUNDED ME! If you have drama in elem school, there’s a problem…just sayin. I dunno. I feel like kids these days won’t get a chance to experience that greatness I did as a kid. Thus is the cycle of life though. When my parents were kids, they didn’t have to worry abt walking home alone. When I was in about 6th grade, my mom was super paranoid about stuff like that. My nephew is 9 years old and our world is such a scary ass place. Maybe it was scary back then too, but people hid it well from us…whatever happened to the sweet ignorance of being a child?

Like whatever you say in this world in person…you cannot hide it. So why be anon? If you’re gonna profess your love, well shit don’t be anon! Scene 1

( Dylan is sitting on one side of the stage while Beth is sitting on the other. Both are on computers (facebook to be specific))

Dylan: Man I’m so bored (pause) I wonder what Gift is up to. Maybe I should call her. Wait this could be interesting I got a message. (reads message aloud) ”Are you gay??” wow do I even know this girl?? Nope. Okay well I mean I’m bored let’s see where this goes.

Beth: (really weird twitching, very nervous…crazy) Oh was that creepy?!?! I really hope that wasn’t creepy! I  wasn’t trying to be creep- AH! She responded!! I’m so scared I don’t want to read it, but I have to! OMGGG! (reads message aloud) “mhm….if we gotta label things yessss” OMG! Yes this means she likes me she so wants me!!! Thank goodness. I worried for nothing!!!

Dylan: Hmm..let’s see…eh she looks like she’d be a cool person, but I don’t know. I’m not really physically attracted to her. Awh man, but I don’t want to be mean. Oh she replied okay let’s see “I’m sorry that came of really forward an you don’t even know me…..but I think you are cute” Awh shit…play it cool D be nice

Beth: Okay I don’t want her to think I’m weird play it cool Beth we got this. (in a different voice)“That’s right Bethy calm it down and reel this girl in you got it! (back to normal voice) Thank you Syd for the confidence boost! AH! She responded!!! I’m so scared I don’t want to read it, but I have to! OMGGG! (reads message)“duude lol dnt even worry abt it…tis cool when ppl just ask what they wanna ask! :) thank you very much :D” She’s in love with me!! Already?!?! I can’t believe! She’s the one I know it!

Dylan: Man I hope she’s not like some crazy girl. I ALWAYS get the crazy ones…I’m about to hop off she hasn’t repl- oh wait let’s see “Lol now I am ashamed and by the way my name is Beth” I mean thanks for that..it was kinda obvious considering it’s on your facebook page? anyway

Beth: Why did I tell her my name is Beth?! Of course she knows that! She’s in love with me!!! Ugh. AH! She responded!!! I’m so scared I don’t want to read it, but I have to! OMGGG “duuude why are you ashamed???? I’m Dylan, very nice to meet you Beth.” Very nice to meet me psh she acts like she doesn’t know me.

Dylan: I’m too nice…(sigh) I wonder what Lorenzo is up to I gotta tell him about this Okay so I love how girls I’m not really attracted to wanna get at me lmao

Lorenzo: (Lorenzo casually walks on to stage left to stage right while saying his line) look at you!

Dylan: WHAT?! ugh! No no no. Lorenzo I feel bad! I don’t want to lead her on!

Lorenzo: Damn that is a problem….oh well let’s see what Jack is up to (runs off stage)

Dylan: Oh damn I didn’t even realize she replied let’s see here “Because ive never been this forward with a girl. Like never, but uh you’re pretty darn cute…you should text me…I mean only if you think im cute…555-6784” Oh damn dude so not cool! You don’t put someone in a position like that. Got it! I’ll give her my number and she’ll prolly just text me first so I’m safe.

Beth: she sure is taking her time answering me…(same weird voice as before) Don’t worry she’s just so overwhelmed with your beauty that she doesn’t know what to do! (regular voice)Very true Syd…very true. AH! She responded!!! I’m so scared I don’t want to read it, but I have to! OMGGG “And my number is 555-2854 but truthfully right now is not the best time for me to be getting into a relationship. I’ll gladly get to know ya, but I mean we’d just be friends” LIES! She’s already with me so I have no clue why she has this. hahahaha(twitching)

Dylan: “I would love that…..it might lead into something more I am in no rush” Dammit!

(lights fade to black)

Scene 2

Gift and Dylan are chilling out in what looks like a messy bedroom

Dylan: Dude that Beth girl texts me nonstop. It’s actually really annoying.

Gift: Well just tell her you don’t like her. (dylan gives her that you know i can’t look) fine..uh tell her you like some other girl! That usually works for me.

Dylan: Not a bad idea. I could just actually tell her the truth. That I’m in love with my best friend. YES! okay let’s see how this works hey Beth.. so I kinda need to vent. I so hate that my best friend doesn’t even know how I feel abt her. And like I want to let her know, but I don’t know what that would do to our friendship! And hell I don’t know if she even likes me like that. I wish she did. Like she’s the girl of my dreams, and I can’ even get a chance at her. Convincing enough??

(spotlight on the far left downstage Beth is standing there with her cell phone)

Beth: Oh! Hmm well Syd I guess we were wrong all along. She wasn’t in love with me! She was in love with her best friend. Oh well gotta play it cool hey D I totally feel ya. I am so sorry. I know all to well that feeling. Sometimes you have to take a chance especially if you feel that strongly about her. If she really is your best friend and doesn’t like you she will just tell you and still want to be your friend. Sometimes you can’t keep dropping hints you have to just say it. Tell me what she says when you tell her. well my job here is done  

(spotlight on her shuts off as she walks off stage)

 Dylan: damn..that was actually some pretty good advice. well Gift I have something to tell you. I love you.

Gift: I love you too. Let’s fuck

(both burst into laughter as the lights fade to black SN: the don’t really have sex :P )

Scene 3

(Dylan is in a store looking at some shirts when WAPOW Beth shows up who would’ve thunk it)

Beth: DYLAN! What a crazy random happenstance running into you here! (twitching)

Dylan: Yeah pretty damn crazy (goes back to looking through shirts)

Beth: So how did it go?

Dylan: How did what go?

Beth: You know telling your friend you love her and whatnot (slight rise in voice maybe a little angry..jealous perhaps?)

Dylan: OH! Right that…well uh we uh talked it out yeah and um she said she cares too much about me to date me. Crazy right? Yeah (sigh of relief good thinking dylan)

Beth: well that doesn’t make any sense

Dylan: (oh shit look) um yeah it does! Ya see she uuuuhhh doesn’t want to end up hurting me which I understand (pouty face)

Beth: Aw I’m sorry about that. But like you said there is someone out there for you. And she might be closer than you think.

Dylan: I never said-

Beth- (different voice “Syd”) YES you did! (back to regular voice) you okay? (she ask this because Dylan looks pale as a ghost)

Dylan: Uh yeah just thinkin about my uh crazy situation

Beth: Yeah well at least you know she cares about you (dylan looks uber confused) and I mean you always have me sweetness. (kisses dylan’s hand and runs away. Dylan is standing there like “what the fuck”)

Dylan: What the fuck! I need to end this shit real quick.

(lights fade as Dylan walks off stage)

Scene 4

(bare stage Dylan and Beth are standing on either side)

Beth: you’re so darn cute

Dylan: why is she still texting me?

Beth: you’re such a sweet little thing

Dylan: what the hell?

Beth: you’re like a dream come true. I almost said baby I love you

Dylan: dude I’m confused. I’m not even responding why is she still texting me?

Beth: Would it be too forward of it if I said one day I’m going to take you on a date and then one day we will date and then another day we will be setting our wedding date?

Dylan: what the fuck!? We don’t even know each other like that HOLY SHIT FUCK! (dylan runs off stage)

Beth: I think I am in love (skips off stage)

Scene 5

(lorenzo, gift, and dylan are all surrounding dylan’s laptop in her room)

Lorenzo: That’s what your going to tell her?? Seems kinda harsh D.

Gift: Lorenzo she needs to get this girl off her back. Did you not see the text message about the wedding thing.

Lorenzo: No I actually didn’t (dylan hands Lorenzo her phone. he reads it and laughs) Oh my God, Dylan you have a stalker! How cute

Dylan: Yeah so fuckin adorable. Now I’m serious is this too mean or not?

Gift: I think it’s fine. Go for it. It’ll probably sting a little, but hey shit happens

Dylan: Alright here I go. (here a click) Yall wanna go to the mall or something?

(bunch of yeahs and sures ab libs they walk off stage and on the other side of the stage Beth is sitting downstage right on her laptop)

Beth: OH! New facebook message from my love. “Dude the likelihood of us going out is slim to none. It’s not because of the wedding text or who you are. I bet you are a very nice girl, but I’m really nowhere near the point where I can be in a relationship. Just so much is going on and so I won’t want you to try so hard to get me when I’m not really looking. I’m sorry.” Wow…(tears up a bit) okay then I’ll just uh wait until she’s ready.

 (lights fade to black)

Scene 6

(lorenzo, gift, and dylan are chilling wherever you want them to be)

Dylan: man I cannot believe this girl hasn’t stalked me or messaged me in 2 whole weeks amazing

Gift: Told ya she’d leave you alone

Lorenzo: Or perhaps she’s waiting in the shadows!

Dylan: ahaha Lorenzo you’re soooo funny. 

( ad libs and whatnot funny banter then all of the sudden Beth appears behind Dylan)

Beth: HEY BABY! HOW ARE YOU? I’VE MISSED YOU SO I DECIDED TO REACTIVATE YOUR TRACKER TO FIND YOU! (she looks insanely crazy twitching make it very outragous)

Dylan: (looks into the sky and yells the classic) NOOOOOO!            

(lights fade to black)

 Point is stop stalking it’s annoying and creepy. doesn’t make people like you in fact it makes them depict you in a crazy manner. THE END      ***some of the scenes are exaggerated****
